Dr. Jonathan Harounian

Dr. Jonathan Harounian, MD FACS is an eminent, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon based in New York City with a focus in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the face, head, and neck region. Dr. Harounian treats a large variety of conditions and specializes in rhinoplasty, facelift, brow lift, oculoplastic surgery such as blepharoplasty/eyelid lift, buccal fat removal, chin augmentation, tracheal shave, deviated septum surgery, repairing broken noses, sinus surgery and complex revision sinus surgery, skull base surgery, tonsil and adenoid surgery, and various head and neck procedures. He is also versed in noninvasive procedures such as injectables (neuromodulators and fillers), facial resurfacing, and many office-based procedures. He is passionate about helping all his patients leave his office feeling confident about their appearance and positive about their outcome.

Jonathan Harounian

Dr. Jonathan Harounian is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Rhinologic Society, the Triological Society, and the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Harounian completed his doctorate as Magna Cum Laude at the prestigious SUNY Downstate Medical Center in New York City. While there, he was honored as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Society at the top of his medical school class. Dr. Harounian then completed residency training and served as chief resident for Head and Neck Surgery at Temple University Hospital and Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was subsequently chosen from hundreds of outstanding candidates to complete additional training in advanced facial plastics and reconstructive surgery in New York City. A board-certified surgeon, he holds multiple research and leadership awards.

In addition to his passion of making a positive impact on his patient’s lives, Dr. Harounian is an avid health & fitness promoter and enjoys weightlifting, hiking, basketball and spending time with his friends and family. His overarching goal is to provide unparalleled care to his patients so that they always feel empowered.
